Matriculation Requirements - ALU Campus

Please beware that to successfully matriculate; you will need to bring the following hard copies on matriculation day:

  1. Admissions Letter
  2. Eligibility to Enrol Letter
  3. A form of national identification (original copy required):
    • International students will need a passport that is valid for no less than six (6) months with at least 2 blank visa pages. 
    • Local prospective students will need to provide their National ID card
    • Local prospective students with a humanitarian status will need to provide a form of identification that clearly shows their name and date of birth, such as a valid refugee ID or UNHCR document

*Note: If the names on your identification document do not match with those on any of your academic documents, please ensure to bring an affidavit from the authorized government office confirming your identity - name change, etc…

  1. Notarized final national secondary exam results or certificate.
  2. Notarized high school transcripts, grades 10-12 
  3. Equivalence Certificate (If Applicable)
  4. International Students must have:
    • A passport that is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry in Rwanda and has at least 2 empty pages.
    • Original copy of Police Certificate of Character, also referred to as Police Clearance, for students above 18 years of age from the country you have lived for the past 6 months. Note: Please read this article carefully for more information on the requirements of this document.
