What are the health provisions for people living with chronic illness or disabilities?

ALU provides comprehensive medical insurance that students can pay for. ALU facilitates all administrative needs for medical insurance. These insurance providers may not fully cover all chronic illnesses, so students should be ready to pay out of pocket to compensate for those instances. The diversity office and the wellness team work with all teams on campus to ensure that ALU students with disabilities live and learn with dignity. The wellness team collaborates fully with the students and external stakeholders to support them. ALU will help facilitate adequate medical insurance for students with chronic illnesses to ensure that they have the coverage they need to support themselves during their time at ALU. We also ensure accessibility in the design of our campus and residential spaces.
