All ALU students are required to submit proof of B2 English proficiency as part of the general admission requirements.
How do I submit my English Proficiency results?
- Go onto your ALU Admissions Portal and head to the 'English Proficiency' page.
- Click on the 'Upload English Proficiency' and submit one of the documents stated below.
- The Admissions team will review your document and update your admission status accordingly.
Important: if you are submitting Duolingo test results, please make sure you submit your results on the Duolingo dashboard as well. Test results that are not verifiable with Duolingo will not be accepted. More information can be found here.

Which test results can I submit as English Proficiency proof?
Below is an overview of accepted tests and minimum scores required for proof of English proficiency. You can submit any of the listed tests however, we do recommend the Duolingo English Test (paid version) and the TrackTest English Core Test with Exam Verification (paid version) because the results are available within 48 hours after taking the test.
