What happens to my Scholarship application once I submit it?

Modified on Wed, 29 Jan at 7:01 AM

Once you submit your scholarship application along with your ALCHE admissions application, your application will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Office. We ensure that all applications go through a rigorous review process that ensures that all applicants get a fair chance of consideration.

The following are the decisions to expect regarding your Scholarship application.

Offered

If an application is approved, the student is informed that they have been offered a scholarship.

Scholarship recipients will be required to sign the scholarship contract offered to them before the specified deadline.

(Note that only Admitted and Conditionally Admitted applicants will be considered for these scholarships)

Waitlisted

This means that your application has been reviewed and found to have merit among other applications with a lot of potential. The Financial Aid Office will further review these applications to determine a final outcome.

We recommend that all waitlisted candidates continue working towards meeting all pending admissions requirements as they wait for a final decision on their scholarship application.

Declined

This means your scholarship application was unsuccessful. Our scholarship applications are competitive and unfortunately, we only have limited slots at any given time.
