Here are the minimum requirements for the MBA programme:

  • You must have a Bachelor's Degree with Honours (equivalent to Level 5 of the Rwandan qualifications Framework) or a qualification deemed equivalent (based on the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) policy
  • You must have a minimum of 3 years of postgraduate professional experience (excluding internships)

Please note that there's additional requirements applied in the selection process. Your application must demonstrate the following:

  • Leadership potential: this will be assessed to ensure that candidates possess the qualities and skills necessary for assuming leadership roles and responsibilities

  • Commitment: it takes grit and discipline to complete our programmes. If an applicant has invested the time to submit an excellent application, it indicates the potential for hard work and commitment to their learning

  • Mission aligned: In order to build powerful communities of purpose, a shared passion to see the continent advance fosters collaboration within the cohort, helps to integrate candidates into the wider ALU community, builds morale and is integral to the future support network that candidates can expect, beyond graduation.

  • Ability to afford the MBA programme costs
