Our financial aid program is 100% need-based, meaning that all aid eligibility is determined by you and your family’s financial circumstances.
We use a standard method to assess your demonstrated financial need and determine your eligibility to apply for grants and scholarships offered by ALU.
Your financial need is largely determined by a household's monthly earnings. Household monthly earnings is the total amount of money earned by every member/earner of a single household in a month.
It is vital that all information you submit is complete, accurate, and honest to the best of your knowledge in order for us to make timely, fair financial aid decisions.
Upon review of your submitted financial information, we will be able to tell you whether you are eligible to apply for our grants and/or scholarships:
- If you do not see the grant page on your Admitted Student Portal after submitting your financial information, this means you are not eligible to apply for any aid this term.
- If you see the grant page but not the scholarship page on your Admitted Student Portal after submitting your financial information, this means you are not eligible to apply for scholarships this term.
Unfortunately, not every student will be eligible to apply for our grants and scholarships. However, we encourage you to explore external funding, scholarship, and sponsorship opportunities.
