Companies are not required to compensate you during your internship. Many of our employer partners, however, do offer a stipend to cover the cost of travel to and from the office as well as food. The compensation package you receive will depend on the employer partner.
As an ALU student you should be prepared to cover all costs (accommodation, food, flights if applicable, etc) associated with your internship, as not all internships will be compensated, and most stipends will only offset your costs but not completely cover them.
